11/ 365 Goodbye, 59!

When I awake tomorrow morning, I will be 60 years old!  How in the world did That happen?!  Yeah, yeah, I know – the natural progression of time and all that, but. . . . .wow!  I have a lot to be thankful for, & I shall do a short inventory in tomorrow’s blog. For now. . . . . . .it is 11:40 PM, and I have been up since 3:30 AM!  Good night, all!

You have SEVERAL successful careers, both in and out of the home.

You raised two amazing kids (hehehe).

You proved that sheer force of will (stubbornness? Irish determination?) and a desire to succeed can overcome even one of the most debilitating diseases (Rheumatoid arthritis), and not only have you proven that once or twice but every day of every year since your diagnosis in your early/mid 30’s.

You and dad have provided THE model of a loving, strong and real marriage (as have Justin’s parents, so maybe it’s no wonder Justin and I do so well.)

You did so without the benefit of an equally model marriage and home life in your own childhood and young adulthood (far from it, sadly.)

You are now a most wonderful grandma to a most wonderful first grandchild.

    These are just starters…

    Love,

    – Your daughter

(P.S. Congrats on being the most successful 365 blogger of the family. I failed within three days but am still trying to blog more than I did in ’07.)
